Tell Us Your Stories
If you or someone you know is a U.S. veteran, then you may be able to help White Oak Library District collect and preserve war stories and experiences as a part of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project.
For more information, please contact Brandon Swarthout - Romeoville Branch Manager
Since 2014, the Library has been interviewing American veterans who served in conflicts from World War II to the present. The original recordings are sent to the American Folk-life Center while a copy is kept at the White Oak Library District and made available on this webpage.
