Teacher Services
Services and Resources @ the Library
Assignment Alerts: Will all of your students research chickens at the same time? Let us know in advance, and we will make sure to stock up on our fowl materials!
Book Bag Service: Teachers can call ahead to have librarians gather particular titles or materials on specific topics for class assignments.
Institutional Cards: Contact your local branch to receive an institutional card for your school. These cards carry the special privilege of six-week extended checkouts.
Library Card Registration: We will come to your special event equipped with information on how to get a library card.
Research Help: In addition to our circulating collections, all three branches have access to many great databases and knowledgeable staff members ready to help. If we don’t own a material you need, we can track it down and have it sent to us.
Reserves/Holds: Want to make sure you will have a popular title when you need it? Let us know and we will reserve it for you.
Classroom Visits: Contact the Children's Department at least a week in advance, and we will setup a Classroom Visit! Our staff will provide a variety of fun and informative library presentations, including storytelling, book talks, research methods, and more. We would love the opportunity to create a visit based on each teachers’ individual needs.
