Our second annual STEM Fest was Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Romeoville Branch Library and over 620 people had a great time!

We enjoyed a day of outstanding hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) leaders and innovators.

Thanks to all the educators who provided stimulating activities from Sci Tech Museum, Lewis University, Joliet Junior College, Children's Museum of Oak Lawn, STEM Scouts, Village of Romeoville TV, Science Ninja, College of DuPage STEM Department, TnT Paranormal, Pilcher Park Nature Center Rescue, author Janet Riehecky, Bolingbrook Amateur Radio Society, K9/Chibots, Joliet Cyborgs Robotics Team, IMSA (Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy), and USDA Forest Service - Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie.

Dave DiNaso's Traveling Worlds of Reptiles presented two fun-packed shows and we marveled at reptiles and amphibians from around the world.

PLUS we had over 30 free raffle prizes and loads of crafts for all ages.

We're already planning for our next STEM Fest on Saturday, March 2, 2019!

White Oak Library District was able to hold our STEM Fest because of a generous grant provided by CITGO. We'd also like to thank the Friends of the White Oak Library District for their continued support.
